Meet Dr. Amy Keene
Dr. Amy D. Buchanan Keene is a highly skilled and experienced optometrist. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role at Family Eye Health Care Clinic.
Dr. Keene graduated valedictorian from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry in 2011, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Emory and Henry College in 2006. She then completed a residency in Ocular Disease/Primary Care at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center.
Dr. Keene is deeply committed to providing exceptional eye care to her patients. She stays up-to-date on the latest advancements in optometry and is passionate about educating her patients on how to maintain healthy vision. Dr. Keene is a member of several professional organizations, including the Wytheville Lions Club and the American Optometric Student Association. She has also participated in community service, providing vision screenings and eye care to underserved populations.
